ANY BUYING/SELLING IN THIS FORUM WILL RESULT IN AN INSTANT BAN!

Read the rules: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43956

Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

The rules for the overall forum can be found here:

    JDM 1-Piece Headlights, 90-91 vs 92-93

I've been researching this topic and have done many searches and viewed most of the images for the front grill threads.

I'm looking at getting some of these and have found both the 90-91 chrome lined version and the 92-93 version with angled center edge. I know that its best to use a front grill that matches the year of the headlights for best fitment.

What I couldn't find is if, using 92-93 1-piece headlights on a 90-91 Accord are there any gaps between bumper/fender/hood and the lights or issues mounting these?

Would it just look better to just use the 90-91 1-piece headlights? I like both and was thinking of getting G-Square replica grill which looks to fit the 92-93 headlights better.

Your opinions please. Plus if anyone wants to comment on how to adjust the light output sense these are JDM and optical path is to the left side instead of the right.

    Thanks

You may have interference with the bumper instead of the gap. The lights will be fine, just not the grill. If you put a 9293 bumper skin on then no issues.

I think there is a thread covering this, but I could be mistaken.

Lights, grille, and bumper all fit together. To avoid gaps, you must use all 3 from either 90-91 or 92-93.

The light will be aimed to the left, rather than the right. It's not a huge deal, but it's not ideal. If your headlights aren't aimed down a bit, they can bother oncoming drivers (and some asshole drivers... like me... will swerve at a car they think is running their high beams)
I have JDM 1 piece lights in my car with an Audi A4 projector retrofit and HIDs. Looks great, light output is fantastic, and it bothers nobody!

That is what I was getting at, if he uses the 9293 1pc headlights and g squared replica grill he will need a 9293 bumper skin.

deev, why swerve at the drivers with highbeams on rather than just flash yours at them? What if they decide road rage wins and it is a good day to play chicken?

I flash first. If they ignore me, they get a swerve.
I've only done it once or twice, to be honest... but I'm far from the first.

So there really is no way to reposition the lights so they don't shine to the left.

You can adjust them a little, but no you really can't reposition them so that they don't shine to the left (without modification of course).

                Or a projector retrofit.

I think your saying a retro fit will solve the issue Jarrett?
So is it the beyond the point of adjusting (this whole "shine to the left" thing)?

i always wondered what inside the lights cause them to shine to the left.
