ANY BUYING/SELLING IN THIS FORUM WILL RESULT IN AN INSTANT BAN!

Read the rules: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43956

Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

The rules for the overall forum can be found here:
http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/forumdisplay.php?f=144
Read them. You will be expected to follow them.

    Chrome around the doors

On the driver side, my chrome is hella dented. What should I do about it? Its also scratched up a bit, looks like someone tried to break into the door. What to do? Also, where can I color match paint, I have an unknown color, car was painted when I got in from a wrecker yard... and also beaten on the outside somewhat.

Unless you go to a junkyard that does have an Accord, buy the trim online from Honda at a great cost, or find someone parting a car on Craigslist you're out of luck. It sounds like you want a magic answer that doesn't exist.

For the paint, take the car to a body shop for them to match it or repaint the car to your liking instead.

I had the same problem. I had someone on this site sell me the chrome trim.
It took a long time to find.

Damn that's fucking expensive... There is a cb7 sitting in someone's driveway down the road from me, I'll see if they'll trade me for like 10 bucks since I have to do the labor. Its a piece of crap too.. Maybe it has a 5 spd I can swap for cheap...

Why would they want some stranger ripping up their car only to throw crappy parts on it only to get $10 out of the deal?

Tape all crome part over with black tape, looks better depending on the color of your car.. Imo

Check craigslist for someone parting one out. Going anywhere over the holidays? Take your tools, visit junkyards. Lots of CB7s in the Cincinnati (U Pull and Pay) and Northern KY (Bessler's U Pull and Save) area.

The chrome across the top of the doors is held on by about a dozen clips, some will likely break when removing it. If you go to a junkyard, pull several to get extra clips. I noted that the clips used on my 90 were different from those on the 93 I stripped. Ordered some new ones from Honda, but they showed up like the 92-93 clips. My 90 LX had a continuous rubber strip under the chrome, the 93 EX coupe I stripped did not, just a rubber gasket on the base of the clip.

                  Coupe or sedan?
