sun roof...

i was surfing thru cardomain.com and i came across a red cb7 where he's sun roof comes out like a gs-r sunroof,or crx,95 civic ex or even the prelude kind...i always wanted that in my cb7...shit looks cool....i've been plannin on doing that to my CB7 or even my DA...but i was wondering...will the crx si sliders or other componets frm it's sunroof will work in ours...or is there any way to make the sunroff go up and slide back instead of hiding inside our roof...?

Sounds like some sort of aftermarket sunroof. They have a couple choices here and there. If your going to try to modify the stock to tilt you will most likely need a new set of sliders and such. You can try running the integras and such but might wanna see if they are the same size and such. You will also have to find some sort of control to give it the tilt function.

yes its very possible but it just needs time and money being that its going to involve custom work.

But with anything, if you have the money and time it can be done.


i wanted to see about wiring up a switch from an eclipse (03) so that i can open my sunroof half way at the flick of a button instead of holding it ya know, but never went through with it.

There was a thread about this actually awhile back about changing sunroofs to make it pop out.

After reading it, the consensus was a 1st gen CL will give you a tilt, but no one knows of a roof that would go out like a Civic/Teg.
