ANY BUYING/SELLING IN THIS FORUM WILL RESULT IN AN INSTANT BAN!

Read the rules: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43956

Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

The rules for the overall forum can be found here:
http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/forumdisplay.php?f=144
Read them. You will be expected to follow them.

Yeah, I think it would most likely be cheaper (and easier!) to just import one...that's a good deal of work converting to rhd. Plus you'd have a mad jdm ride, yo!

If you convert your whip to RHD whats the point? Yes the cool factor is there but "is it really JDM????" true JDM is having an import car from japan thats already RHD. Stick with your LHD whip. it's made that way so why not keep it original and plus left turns will be alot more easier to manuver.

if laws don't change significantly against importing 15-year-old cars, they aren't going anywhere. 2007-2008 are going to be huge for rhd imports.

I think a RHD CB7 will look cool, but it is highly impractical in the US. One reason being that we drive on the right side vice the left. I used to live in Japan and when I started driving it wasn't really that hard to get used to driving on the left side because of the cars being RHD. Just my opinion.

^True, I think the import of RHD cars is just going to expand as the years go on as newer and better cars will be able to be legalized. True that RHD cars suck making left turns, but my friends with RHD cars just wait till it's yellow, or I'll let them know from the passenger seat, whether they can go or not. It's not that big a deal. Id drive a RHD car regardless.

There was an old Mini in my town that was RHD. The best thing ever was watching him back through a drive through to make it easier.

everyone has his right to do whatever to his cb7.

in japan, they have both rhd and lhd cb accords.
all models, sedan, wagon, and coupe, have both rhd and lhd types.
most, possibly all, of the lhd cbs were imported from the us
and honda america also provided rhd cbs, especially the 2drs.

i live in taiwan and it's quite common to import rhd cars from japan
but the law doesn't allow rhd cars to run on streets.
even engine swapping is illegal and that's why i never lean to h22a.
i have experience in driving a rhd car and that's no big deal.
you'll get used of it in a very short time.
i believe that in europe both rhd and lhd cars may run on the same lane.

i agree with your statement. i'd argue that those who think its a 'fad' should have a hard look at the cars being imported. everything from landcruisers to toyota aristos (lexus gs300 w/ 2jzgte) to skylines, silvias and everything in between. truly a massive spectrum of well maintained, high quality, low mileage cars available to anyone who wants to do a little research and make a few sacrifices. if you are that hung up on the fact that the car is RHD, please drive one for more than 15 minutes.. you will be pleasantly suprised.
