ANY BUYING/SELLING IN THIS FORUM WILL RESULT IN AN INSTANT BAN!
Read the rules: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43956
Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)
Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.
These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.
1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.
2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.
3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.
4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.
The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.
The rules for the overall forum can be found here:
http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/forumdisplay.php?f=144
Read them. You will be expected to follow them.

Get on eBay and find one. There's hundreds of them there. My Members' Ride Thread - It's a marathon build, not a sprint. But keep me honest on the update frequency!

i waited soooo long for this to come in the yard, and of course what i needed (rear seats and panels) were gone. i thought i was gonna get the full interior. nothing worth the money except that spoiler. i was there when they were putting the cars in the yard and i was running around like a chicken with his head cut off. looking through all the hondas. i found a cl coupe i'm taking the rear black seats out of. also found heated mirrors and switch, from cl and tl. 3 tl's came in at one time, i might get the leather from one of them.
only pic i got as my phone died, they had to come and drag me out. i wasn't ready to go. i wonder what i missed. the SE had some badass alpine speakers all around, i got half of them, hopefully the rest will be there tomorrow after work.

Also correct me if im wrong but isn't there a switch or wiring that allows the antenna to go down as the trunk with a spoiler opens?
That is an SE spoiler on a non SE. It was probably added after the fact and not done with all that care

Now comparing the springs with the ones from a model w/o is beyond me because i do not have a spoiler.

it's a true SE painted white, not frost white, some creamy white. it had the springs but not sure how to take them off, but i bought it for reselling anyway. and i pulled the whole harness out the trunk and there was no fuse, and also i couldn't find the relay by the antenna either. i'll take more pics tomorrow but I'm sure the se must not have that spoiler harness. i can never find that damn relay for the antenna. it also had full beige leather but everything was just about gone. or disgusting. i can take a pic of the VIN tomorrow.
it also had a panda sticker on the windsheild so i think they were going for that look. also had BLUE front bumper and BLUE rear bumper which looked brand new that i'm picking up this weekend.
or the blue bumper could be the original blue SE coupe bumpers. also had 3rd brake delete. BAM!Last edited by STREET-SPEC; 05-21-2012, 10:00 PM.

If its a real SE than its all integrated into the trunk wiring harness. If its not an SE than its a stand alone harness.
Honestly you don't really need the trunk springs to add a spoiler
Your trunk will be heavier but it won't be a big deal and it won't fall down
You just need to make sure your friends don't slam your trunk.

I swapped from a 90-91 trunk to a 92-93 sedan trunk with spoiler. Using the 90-91 springs, it will fall if you dont prop it up. You can take the springs off of the hinges and swap them over. But honestly it's just easier to take the whole assembly, lid, hinges, and springs.
I wish I could trade my heart for an extra liver, just so I can drink more and care less.

Found an Apexi WS2 Exhaust in the JY off a 99 Acura TL and got it for 22 bucks. Sold it the next day for 220 cash + S2k Shift knob + H22 spark plug cover. The awesome thing? They had already pulled it off the car and it was leaning against a wall. All I had to do was take it apart to fit it in my car, clean it up and take pictures. $200 profit ain't bad for 20 min of work.Last edited by Losiracer2; 12-31-2012, 01:02 AM.
