ANY BUYING/SELLING IN THIS FORUM WILL RESULT IN AN INSTANT BAN!

Read the rules: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43956

Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

The rules for the overall forum can be found here:

Read them. You will be expected to follow them.

    Been a while..

Hey, I used to be on here a few years ago when I owned a 1992 Canadian EX. My user name was accordkid16. I have been searching for a new cb periodically but they were all rusted or riced. I moved to Brampton Ontario and have found a 1992 EXR 5spd for $900. NO RUST. I will be picking the car up tomorrow.

I had owned an ED6 the past 2 years and did a dpfi - mpfi swap along with a dohc zc motor and tranny. But the body was just to rusty so I sold it.

    Here is the old CB.

And here is the new CB.

I hope CrazeyMikey and Dj Metaldelic are still kicking around here.

What would cause the "maintenance required" color thing to change? Mine has always been green.

It is hooked to your odometer, it just turns red at the oil change interval. You reset it by pushing the key in the slot next to it.

Well the guy just delivered my cb. I'm so happy that I have an accord again. I was getting kind of tired with civics. The car has been oil sprayed to shit underneath and all in the engine bay. I had oily engine bays. Si I think the first thing to do will be clean the interior and the engine bay.

I'm not going to make this into a real build thread. I'll just wait till I can post in the member's ride section.

Well nothing new to report other than I am trying to get insurance for the first time and have a ticket for not carrying an insurance card. I have been quoted $1,075 per month from RBC insurance. I might be eating Mr. Noodles for the next few years until it goes down. Then I might be able to get Kraft Dinner. lol.

Yeah I'm only 20. And have never had insurance. Brampton also has much higher rates.

                            Welcome aboard! Again!

Yeah there is a CB7 scene to help you with your car in the GTA area, they have a good facebook area to join too for meets and parts.
I'm down the 401 from you in London, hopefully get out into something this year in the GTA area but had twins this year with the wifey, my hobbies are suffering at the moment.

Your insurance is mad. I had a failure to produce an insurance slip once, I think it was $45 fine... obviously that might have been different.
in Ontario if you get a big fine, overpay it by a bit and when they send you a check back for the change, don't cash it. Shit stays out off insurance records as its open. Have a friend that is successfully keeping a third speeding ticket off his abstract that way.

That's whack. I'm going to have to just pay the $1000 a month for now just so I can drive.

I just spent an hour cleaning under the hood of the car and used almost a whole roll of shop towels. Still not fully clean. I hate oil spray.
