They dont work. I have a escort 8500 v1 and my friend has a valentine 1. His valentine > my escort lol. Anyway yea they dont work unless the police has his radar thingy on.

I used to have a Cobra in my G20t until someone ripped it off my dashboard one night . Btw they work great and are really sensitive it all depends on how good of one you get.

It depends on which one you get. Some people swear by the Valentine, others say its garbage..same with the escort and various other brands..only thing you can really do is see how well they work for yourself...OR just let some of your friends buy them and see which ones work lol

cobras never let me down, well the older ones would always pick up false signals but the new ones r great, get the POP one, it picks them up from about 2-3 miles away most of the time, cost around 180-220 for the one i got.

Each state uses different frequency bands. Look up which ones your state use and find the one best suited. Keep in mind it doesn't necessarily mean it encourage speeding.

my bro has a valentine- look in like modified mag or somthing they usually sell thoughs, and it works like a champ- hasnt proven us wrong....

i know they also make diffusers/detectors.... like the K-40 which is garunteed to scramble the cops detector or they pay all your tickets for one year straight garunteed.

the K-40 gos inside your front and rear bumpers and you get two sensors in your gauge that blink when theres a cop. 2000$ and its yours, sounds worth it if i had that kind of cashiesh

My Escort Passport 7500-S is aight..mainly picks up CHP's (california highway patrol)..if they have there radar on!..rarely picks up city cops..I'm looking in getting something better!
