ANY BUYING/SELLING IN THIS FORUM WILL RESULT IN AN INSTANT BAN!
Read the rules: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43956
Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)
Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.
These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.
1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.
2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.
3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.
4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.
The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.
The rules for the overall forum can be found here:
http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/forumdisplay.php?f=144
Read them. You will be expected to follow them.

i once read on here that seatbelts have a lifetime warranty; (at least against mechanical failure). all you need to do is go to a honda dealership and get it fixed.
its free according to my memory.
it would not hurt to give them a call and explain the situation
but you might want to check your fuses.
check the switch that tells the car the door is closed/open
good luck
edit, plee3 just squeeed in the answer before me
i found this in a post by "accord=inspire?"

can anyone tell me how to get in contact with Main (corporate) Honda ? just in case another dealership BS with me again?

KB7 Accord stated to check your fuses. I would do that first. I think they are labeled passive L and passive R. (I think. some one chime in if Im incorrect) in the fuse box under the hood.Originally posted by KB7Acoord View Posti once read on here that seatbelts have a lifetime warranty; (at least against mechanical failure). all you need to do is go to a honda dealership and get it fixed.

that is very conflicting information from my research, the particular thread i gathered my info from stated that his honda dealerships could not and would not fix his frayed seatbelt, becauseOriginally posted by 415cb7 View PostYou could also check the seatbelt module that is under the passenger seat. I do not know if this one module controls both seatbelts or just passenger. It's about $10 at the junkyard.
I asked Honda once if they would repair my seatbelt under warranty, but they said only if it had ripped.
A) they only covered mechanical
B) they could not find any part to fix the strap, as in the strap no longer exists
this all sounds like honda is trying to get away with not covering their warranties.

I agree, it is conflicting. They said as long as the strap still holds and has no tears, then everything is ok.Originally posted by KB7Acoord View Postthat is very conflicting information from my research, the particular thread i gathered my info from stated that his honda dealerships could not and would not fix his frayed seatbelt, because

In the meantime, you can roll the seatbelt to the back of the track. In case you don't know or haven't, there is a plug next to the passenger sear in the frame. Pop that out and put a hex key in there and turn.
