Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

    Im not to sure what forum to put this in so i apologize in advance but hears my question, i recently bought a 93 cb7 lx and there's this piece in the car i never seen before. i don't know if its factory or not or if has any reason to be there. i don't want to disconnect if i need it. it right above the drivers head. does anyone know what it is?

      Microphone for an old car phone.

      Rip that out because it looks tacky, its not stock or needed for anything anymore

        Kinda looks like an old glass break sensor.
        Does the car have an alarm? And if you take a coin and tap the glass does the red light come on?

          i haven't tried to tap the glass yet but i will. also it use to have an alarm on it so maybe that's what it is. thanks guys

              don't break the glass pimp.that may very well be a security item i'd keep it bro just in case its of some importance. if you don't have the alarm on anymore , toss it yo.

                its part of the integrated phone system. i have one of those in my a pillar as well. as the antenna which was stuck between the glass. the inside part of the antenna is still there but the outside external antenna mast has been removed in favor of my roof spoiler.

                  Follow the wire back. I had something like that, it might be part of a car phone, or part of a CB setup, I'm not positive yet.
