ANY BUYING/SELLING IN THIS FORUM WILL RESULT IN AN INSTANT BAN!

Read the rules: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43956

Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

The rules for the overall forum can be found here:

Read them. You will be expected to follow them.

    Radiator problem...

I think i have holes in my actual radiator.. All of my hoses are still good no holes. I have used the radiator additive sealet. It worked but i think theres another hole now. Is there any other way to fix it except for buying a new radiator for the moment?

Uh oh... You have any holes in your imaginary (not actual) radiator? j/k

But seriously you may have made the problem worse by adding the stop leak junk.

Can you actually see the leak or is coolant dissapearing? What is the status of the water pump and heater core? How is the radiator cap? How is the thermostat? Has it actually over heated yet?

If your radiator is bad you will need another.

You can try crimping the tubes that are leaking, but that is really only an emergency repair to get you home.
As by doing that you reduce the cooling capacity.

Get a new one (or secondhand) before you overheat and damage your motor.

OP have you checked your Water Pump? My dad had a leak and he thought it was the Radiator.

Yea water pump is good and thermastat.. It looks like its leaking from right below the radiator cap.. Its not overheating at all tho..

try cleaning the area then rough it up with sandpaper and seal it up with JB weld. Then when you have 80 bucks you can go online and get an all aluminum Silla radiator to replace the crappy plastic tanked OEM one.

I've had many radiators crack and leak through my life. I've sealed them with junk and high temp sealants but it never really works.

Your best best is to get a new radiator or a good used one. My CB is a long term investment for me so I always install new parts over used. Take care of the car and it will last you probably forever. They are so easy to work on and repair and there really will always be parts available as these cars are so common in the junkyards.
