Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

          LOL, de-assemling the car each time would work too, car in parts in your room= no stealing lol. Anyways, I don't have a big worry of my car getting stolen....but the thign with alarms...no one really cares anymore :S. Alarms go off so often no pays any attention to them anymore. That fuel kill switch sounds interesting, I want one lol.

            you can always wire the alarm siren in with the horn, that way you have both going off at the same time. Thats what I have with my truck, and it sounds like nothing else on the road. People always pay attention when that goes off...

                        that is like the coolest idea ever. i would never have thought of that in a million years.

                        Now lets just hope that no one ever has to try to run away from a killer via a car with a cut off switch for the fuel pump.

                            what if you put a a puch botton switch under some carpet in a obsure place and hit it with your foot to turn it on or off? would have to be in a place where nothing normaly would hit it though.

                              I was pondering rewiring the "clutch down to start car" thing into a hidden button (hold to start) but I didn't know if it messes with the shifting and I am lazy. Thoughts?

                                you'd have to somehow water proof that button if you decided to place it under the floormat.

                                i would love to see someone actually turn the cigarette lighter into the fuelpump kill switch.

                                i mean when it's pushed in, it completes the circuit to start the car, when it's popped out, that's the opening in the circuit.
