Exceptional performance muffler?

Hi, im looking for a exceptionally nice performance muffler for my honda accord (ex 1992 4 door 2.2l).

I talked with someone at midas and they told me to look for a "bolsis" muffler. I google'd it and maybe I'm spelling it wrong, but I dont get anything pertaining to mufflers.

If anyone can give me an idea as to which muffler is best for the money that would be great.

No, I don't want to use stock "I want to burn rice".

It's BORLA and yes they have good exhaust systems with a million mile warrany. A bit pricey, but good nonetheless.

Go to your local used parts junk yard and source either of these:

Acura RSX muffler
Prelude Muffler
Accord V6 muffler

They have much better flow and quiet operations.

Two birds with one stone!

It's a freakin muffler. Either way you go as long as you have stock piping it's not going to change a dang thing except the sound.

To the poster:

Don't waste your money on a muffler. Get a $20 replacement one from a muffler shop and be happy.

If you want to blow $250, send it my way.

Dud get a pacesetter catback. Not the best but def cheaper than anything else out there. Dont get a fart cannon, cuz then you are like every other "ricer".

go to you local muffler/performance shop
they usually cary mufflers
tell them what you want. sound/performance wise.
flowmaster/magnaflow is a good brand.

get 2.25 or 2.5 piping all redone.

cost me 150$ to get all 2.25 piping and my 7$ egay muffler welded on ( no cat converter or resonator... yes, it is loud as FUCK)

there is no such thing as performance muffler get a full exhaust it u want horsepower. Header, keep ur cat, cat back exhaust. Performance muffler = noise maker. No cat = bad environment. Import Tuner august edition did a test on test pipe high flow and regular cat. The difference 1 horsepower you can get that by running race gas or taking out ur spare tire. Keep cat save the whales. if you want noise cut of ur stock muffler, after the cat, and just run that it will be really loud and really rice.
