Sooo, last night on my way home from work, I stopped at the local Walmart to get some groceries. I did my shopping and was walking back out of the entrance when I noticed a group of people staring towards the parking lot. I proceeded out side and saw to my dismay, my car NOT where I parked it.
My first thought was, "Did I not set my E-brake!?", then I saw what had happened. Someone had pulled into the stall in front of me and didn't stop, they just drove into my car and pushed it out of its spot and across the lane of the parking lot. We're talking a 3200 lb car being pushed a car length and a half with the emergency brake on.
After seeing what happened, my next statement was "Are you ****ing kidding me!!!!????", to which someone replied, "Is that your car?". I almost punched him.
A little old lady in her 1996 Toyota Camry said she has no idea what happened and that her car just didn't stop. And I'm not exaggerating the old. She had a disabled placard hanging from her rearview mirror (which stopped her from being forced into disability by myself) and was wearing a brightly colored sequined track suit....
I got all the information I needed from her and I had the cops come out even though its "private property" and they don't have jurisdiction. He told her in no uncertain terms that she hit a car that was parked and unoccupied making her 100% at fault here...
I'm contacting my insurance with her information. Hopefully they just fix it, if they decide to total it (completely possible) than I can hopefully get it for salvage price and have enough cash to go strip an accord at the JY that has a completely straight front end.
As of just looking at it, these are the definite parts needed: Hood (obviously) bumper, core support, radiator (I could hear it releasing steam), fenders, at least one headlight, and corner lights. Then the car would have to be resprayed...
So...without further ado, here's the carnage:

If I may, I'd like to have everyone bow their head in silence for a few moments.
signed: Seriously sad about the state of humanity that would allow such a thing to happen to this lovely cd5...

I'm sorry for your loss.

The accord that I found at the yank a part was a 94-95 and had completely straight front bumper, fenders, hood and headlights. I imagine the core support was good too...
