      Here's a good question:

What have you guys replaced your rear 6x9 speaker with? From what I understand, the two grates in our roof are components connected to a built-in crossover in the stock 6x9. What's a good aftermarket piece to replace it with to still utilize the components?

that was the factory sub so you could do a few thing with that spot you could put any old 6x9 in it or mod it to fit a 8" sub with port just leave it the way it was lol

If you match up the contour of the 90-91 CB7 splash guard on the side of the bumper, then where it is supposed to up against the bottom of the bumper, it is about 1/8-1/4 inch low. Anyone successfully shaved a set to fit properly?

Mine fit pretty splendidly, no modifications here. They were on the car the day my dad drove the car off the lot.

Yeah, but would any old 6x9 have a crossover to utilize the 4" components in the roof?

I'd just like to keep it stock setup for now. I'm focusing money into repairing and building up my body and motor.

i don't know if this has been said, but cb9 wagons were designed and built in the U.S. and exported to other country's such as japan. later.

Something new i found out by mistake

On a coupe/sedan you can either lock all the doors with the key or pushing the plunger down inside the car

On a wagon you can also unlock all doors with the plunger/key and BOTH front door handles have this ability

I just noticed this while looking at the wiring diagram in the service manual.

Part numbers for lock devices in front right door

                              Sedan:72150-SM4-C03
                              Wagon:72150-SM5-023

Hmmm this might be a future swap for me.
