I think this is the right section to post this. Could be seen as technical, but at this point I think the only reason any of us would do something like this would be as an appearance mod/OEM+ accessory.
While trying to help out a member of a different forum, some searching led me to moroneylabels.com, who offers reprints of many cars' original window stickers. Apparently "Moroney Label" is the technical name of the window sticker found on cars when bought new, and they're actually a legal requirement for that initial sale. I figured for $10 through the protection of PayPal, I'd give this reproduction site a shot. Totally worth it. Obviously QR codes didn't exist in '93, but some photoshop could easily remove that if you wanted. I'm not sure, but you might actually be able to edit the QR code to lead to your own URL if you wanted - a member's ride thread, perhaps? Mine hasn't been edited below, for the record, so I don't know what that leads to; I've never scanned a QR code before. There's also an "addendum sticker" you can add that allows you to list up to 12 aftermarket items and their prices, to reflect in the car's total overall 'out-the-door price.' I'm going to have some fun with this over time, since I've been keeping my receipts and recording money spent since day one anyway. And I think photoshopping the hell out of this main sticker would really be the way to go, to make all my options correct (OEM roof rack, power folding mirrors, modern stereo, etc).
Anyhoo, an example of my unmodified window sticker. The only information I submitted was model year, make, and VIN (1993 Honda 1HGCB9...). Their database filled in the rest.
Doing further searching on reviews of the site, it sounds like the pdf they give you prints out really well too. Creating an account on the site gives you a profile where multiple cars can be stored for future printing and editing.
