Please DO NOT Post In The General Section

From this point on until otherwise briefed, posting in the general section of Performance Tech is prohibited. The only thing to remain here will be the stickies. We would just delete this section, but that would cause unintended results.

The majority of the threads created can appropriately be placed in one of the Performance Tech sub-forums or Technical; and the posting of them here is detrimental to the activity of said forums. If you have any questions about where you need to place your thread PM me or one of the other mods.

For the most part you all have caught on without this post, but there have been a few habitual offenders that forced me to say this.

Everyone will get a couple of warnings from here on out, after that I just start deleting threads.

Again if you have any questions, PM me or one of the other mods.

    Bisimoto F22 Header Interest

    Bisimoto F22ax SOHC header Prices:

    $850 for mild steel
    $1150 for stainless steel
Add $150 for jet hot ceramic coating

    Shipping costs not included.

Street versions can retain A/C and P/S functionality, have one oxygen sensor bung on downpipe. Race versions have a megaphone at end of header. Bisi tried his best to retain prices around $600-700, but it was not possible due to the increased costs in metal, they have increased dramatically.

I've been anxiously waiting for Bisi's F headers to undergo production, I am ready to buy one whenever they become availible, and Bisi knows that! I've been in touch w/ him through email several times expressing my interest and asking questions. This will be my first and final header, it's worth the wait. I'm sorta shocked @ this, it did seem like there was alot of interest

Sorry for the questions, but he is taking orders now? Do we pay now or tell him our specs and pay later? Bisi said he put me on the list, and he took down all the specs for my CB, so I'm sorta confused w/ what I need to do!

Anyhow, to all F-series enthusiasts, express you're interest in Bisimoto headers for your application. He is really trying for $600-700 headers that you can NOT compare to any off the shelf unit. If you guys can not appreciate this value for the quality you receive, you should go out and get some prices from other companies and even local performance shops that have the capability!

Most aftermarket header-making companies charge $1000+ and performance shops that I've talk to that can make custom header/exhaust systems for each application charge $2000+.

If you're seriously interested, place your orders in the Member Shop section. He doesn't feel there is much of an F-series market for his product, need I say anymore?

If no interest is expressed, what's going to happen is if there is any headers made it will be for the H-series, I can tell you that now.

      h22a pwns

but seriously, that's a good deal and for all the SUPPOSED "f series enthusiasts" this would be a great opportunity.

let's see who is all talk and who isn't.

I will 100% be buying one. I'm like Granite on this one. Does he want money up front, specs, or just a commitment? There has been very little talk from him about his own product, mostly just people asking questions and you pushing his products. Obviously, this is the best bang for your buck for the f-series. Hell, it might be the best bang for any buck.

Is yours(Hondafan) going to be SS? Any other options?

I'd like to see specific instructions from him telling us, the F-series forum, what to do if we want to purchase one. It's not like any other product he or anyone else sells. There's more money involved and a waiting period and I think built to his or her own car.

I'm gonna go post in that thread.

I don't understand any of the last 5 posts. Of course it's 5:20 am.

I am going 5 speed. But everything is going in at once since I've decided to do a full N/A build now.

All I know is, if Bisi wants to make me a header I will buy it.

I reopened this thread. I'm getting my Bisimoto Header in November. I told Bisi I'll have the money Nov. 15th, so that is our deadline. He assures me he will have it then.

Anyhow, I need ALL F22 header enthusiasts ONLY to post up your SERIOUS interest. I'm going to make a list on this first thread of YES and MAYBE. I am also going to make a different Bisimoto H22 header thread, so those people do NOT post in this thread!

              Sorry!

              Good luck guys!

I will be purchasing one, but I must payoff a couple things first... It will be several months before I would be ready... (Quakerjoe= poor starving college student that will have a bisi header (after he pays off his stuff)) Please dont count me out because I can not afford one at the moment.

Unfortunately a student budget doesn't allow me a ready expendable income...dang. Keep me on the maybe list. If I can land a good summer job, I'm all game.

Yes, I'm still in no matter what. Of course there have been zero details about this product which may be putting some people off.

yeah, a picture of a finished product always sells....

Question: does this header come with the dreaded flex pipe as well? is it a direct bolt on or do we have to do the intermediate section ourselves?

Cisco will have his header in November. He will take pics, and probably give us installation details as well. As for now, it's a header. 4 bent pipes. A flange at one end, a collector at the other. Bisi is an incredibly knowledgeable engineer who actually races the F series engine, so there is nobody better to design the ultimate F22 header. With or without pics, you know what a header looks like... and you know where it's coming from. If you just want a header to look nice, this isn't the piece for you. (though I'm sure it's quite pretty )

Thanks for the replies, but keep this interest coming. If there is not enough interest, don't be surprised these headers do not come to market.

Do not worry about photos, etc. Bisi is having this header created on his own personal CB7/90-93 Accord, so it WILL fit! I will get you all photos when I receive mine. Deevergote's right, those interested need not worry about such minute details with Bisimoto's products. What I am worried about is not enough interest for Bisimoto to come out with their product at this price range.

I can tell now, simply getting his stage 1 cam and this header would put out decent power. People need to realize where the power is made.
