Any recomended brands for the entire system? I am not looking for extream power but a bit over new OEM or sound. The condition my exhaust is in with dents and leaks, I might gain back considerable power. What I am looking for is something that is not worse than OEM EX (F22A4). I looked up prices for factory pipes and it is not worth the price. Keep in mind I will also get a hi-flo cat to match new piping size.

Answer me these:
1) What's your budget?
2) Do you want more power or are you just looking to replace the stock system cheaply but with quality parts?
My custom 2.5" system for my power build is going to cost about $1300. That includes a performance header, a stainless catalytic converter, stainless nuts/bolts and flanges, gaskets (I'm making the cat bolt-on), stainless mandrel-bent piping, two large stainless resonators, and a stainless muffler. Brands involved are Vibrant, Kteller, Magnaflow, and Catco.
On the cheaper side, you could find the header, cat, and muffler(s) you like, then bring them into an exhaust shop for them to weld up to some aluminized, crush-bent piping of a diameter to match your parts. They probably won't do flanges on their own, so if you want anything to be easily removed I suggest ordering flanges, hardware, and gaskets with your other parts. As for recommended mufflers, there are a handful of known good brands out there (Vibrant, Magnaflow, Apexi, Borla...). The more baffling material in a muffler, the quieter and deeper the exhaust note will be.

And technically, you're looking for a cat back, if you plan to change the cat. Some eBay systems come with a cat, I wouldn't use them. And the exhaust that meets your needs is an Apex i WS2, unless you can find an RS*R EX Mag.Originally posted by Mishakol129Do not disrespect my intelligence. I am the smartest person I know : )

Budget for now is zero, but this quarter of school is almost over and I will be working again so lets say around $600, this price does not include cat converter. What I want is something to replace what I have, header to the muffler, and any power over the new mark would be nice. Through my research I will not see too many gains unless I go $1000 and I have come to terms with that. As an end note, I saw on ebay a Megan Racing set for ~$550 but I am hesitant because they list 3 different sizes for one measurement.

If they are genuine. I usually do not trust the ebay stores from California (nothing personal about the state) as it seems thats the biggest place that imports the no name stuff from China.Be unique, like every other person.

Hey man if I were you I would go;
Megan Racing Header, this brand has bigger primaries than the eBay knock off counterparts, which in return will provide more power.
For a cat i would keep the stock one as a "resonator" will most likely give it a raspy and "farty" tone
If your's is bad, then I would consider the OBX oem style high flow cat
For a catback there are 2 reasonable options that Ive ran across, and 1 that was recently changed;
1) SR*S Catback, 2.25" ID, not to be confused for RS*R, sound quality unknown.
2) Megan Racing Catback, 2.5" ID, deep sound, very loud.
There used to be the Yonaka, which sounds amazing and is a very close rep. to a WS2, it was $240, but is now listed at $450
Yonaka Catback
I hope that helps you out some
good luck in your selection.
edit-
The yonaka fooled me, theyre advertising it at 450 but it is still being sold for a seriously resonable $240! I'd like to call the Yonaka the best budget catback exhaust you can get without making your own.Last edited by CB7DX420; 06-07-2013, 04:24 PM.

No problem man love to be helpful.
Here's a sound clip provided by another member, VEX, for the Yonaka, it sounds amazing to me. Its quiet, and not overbearing like most catbacks.

XCRN, you are extremely lucky to be living in a place other than Cali because of the stricter smog laws we have. I forked out $230 for a Magnaflow High Flow cat and a cheap $110 eBay exhaust. Granted, still sitting on stock headers but good enough to pass smog. And the best part? All bolt on, so that I can easily do upgrades or replacements without hassle of hacking off welded parts...
