CD and CB strut bars swappable

I cant seem to remember nor find any info but can a 95 accord strut bar on a 90-93 accord?

i have a NUESPEED strut bar for my accord (with the notch cut out, for the valve cover) but the bar sits right on top of the oil cap. so i want a new one. thinking about a CUSCO but its for a 94-97

can someone let me know?

i think any CD5 strut bar will not fit on CB due to different design in the strut towers

The Neuspeed bar for CB and for CD are different. TOTALLY!

As for the CUSCO bar off the CD, that will fit a CB. I have done it.

damn, 53 views and 3 answers either way its better than nothing. i have the CB NUESPEED bar. that fits fine but i cant use it. i thought a CD would fit (CUSCO) but just wanted to make sure. thanks fellas

Larry, it depends on which Cusco bar you're getting...Here's my old Cusco bar (adjustable)..This design will fit CB chassis, as well as CD, even RA1 Ody




And here's a pic of the non-adjustable Cusco bar (courtesy of Mike a.k.a. CB3)..I believe this design can only fit the specific application it's made for..So the one for CB chassis will not work on CD chassis, and vice versa...(Length difference)

as much as your right, i wouldnt want it. its too bulky for my liking and it would take away from my engine bay

Yeah I saw those on Ebay too Larry...I would definitely double check though, because with my old one (the adjustable one), I had it test-fitted on both CB and CD chassis, and the length difference is quite major..I had to lengthen the bar by quite a bit when mounting it on a CD chassis after the bar was set-up for my car...So definitely double-check! Maybe measure both chassis for the distance between the front shock towers

i doubt a DC will fit. a DC/EG are the same. i can measure my civic or my moms car and find out

I think he meant DC Sports.

I was always under the impression that the all the lower bars (under braces, sways, etc) would fit but the upper stuff wouldn't.

I know it's hearsay at best...but it's all I've got.
