    Koni Yellows and Skunk2 Coilovers

Is this the right way to put them together?
Hardly anybody has used this setup so I can't find anyone to ask about it or anything.

he's probably asking because you have to order specific konis if you are going to run a coilover set up. the difference is, they supply you a special adapter, but I dont remember what it looks like.

I put these on the front of my car exactly like this and it still has almost a 2 finger gap...the coilovers are all the way down and I cut the bump stops in half. The back is sittin with almost a 2 finger gap rightnow too...does that have anything to do with it?

in order to go lower u have to turn the coils and sleeve upside down.so the coil sits on the silver plat form.

I can't say I've done it but it does make sense. Try it with the rear and see if it looks right.

also i checked in to it, the skunk 2 coils are 1 1/2inch longer to acomidate their spring rate. they are made for ride quality and not "slam lowering".but yeah try what i said earlyer.i did mine like that for a while it drove fine.but the drop was crazy low.couldnt aford tires every 3 months.

i know right. the bastards gonna say he has it slammed now and not even post pics. wtf?

i HAD skunk2s on my cb with the Skunk2 sport struts. but they didnt give me the drop i wanted. it actually RAISED my CB. so i put the ebay coilovers on and it put it back where i wanted it at. i even took off one of the perches on the Skunk2 sleeve(do NOT do this), and it still had a 2 finger gap. found out the Skunk2 struts had a higher mounting perch than the stock struts.

but glad you got your drop where you wanted.
