f18b from jdm engine depot

i was just on jdmenginedepot website and since i dont have no motor and i decided to keep my car i was thinking about putting this motor in my engine bay.are these motors good motors? any information would help

I know you can pick up an f for the cheap just about anywhere and an h if you look around.

I found an h22a4 swap for 500 but it needs rings. Its smoking a little bit. The motors are deff around where I'm from. Good luck man.

It's a SOHC VTEC motor with power comparable to a F22a6. I would think that wouldn't be an upgrade of any sort other than for the "unique" factor. If you just need a motor, I'm sure the classifieds on this site can provide with you a replacement F22 for quite cheap. I mean, I doubt you'd have to pay more than $500 for a solid running F22, and probably much cheaper if you're willing to put some wrench time in.

i found an f22 from a guy i met on craigslist, he thought he blew it up and it turned out he broke his flywheel he sold it to me for 60 bucks..try craigslist if you can, you might come up with something good

I found an F22 on B20 for $200... motor is strong and still serving me well
