everywhere I read before swapping said the h22a would swap into any 90-93 accord direct plug-and-play, but I CALL BULLSHIT! my 91 accord sedan has two different plugs on the wiring harness with different numbers of wires than the h22a harness plugs. here are the passenger side plugs
and here are the driver side plugs
One forum i searched said to swap the f22 wiring harness onto the h22a, but won't the different number of wires in the h22 harness compared to the f22 harness leave out some sensors? Another forum i searched said "Instead of changing the harness to fit the distributor and coil, change the distributor and coil to fit the harness"
also, this sedan apparently has a tps sensor in the engine harness instead of hanging from near the firewall on the vehicle side....wtf
has anyone swapped into a 90-91 cb7 and encountered this? please share how you worked around this.
