    Power Mirror Switch

Ok, so i had a issue with my power mirror switch.
As i went to adjust my mirrors, my mirror starts to move on its own towards the right. As i press it to go left, it stops. Going up and down is fine, but i cant control right or left.

I went to the Junkyard and found me 1 switch for removal (hard to find door panels intact or still on the door here in Cen-Cal)

I put in the switch, and it has a worst issue than what i had, it goes up and right, and i cannot control down or left.

So i opened up the switch and re-soldered the board and it seemed to work fins after that. But that was 2 days ago and now it is acting up again. What can be the issue?
I made sure the new solder was put on correctly so it made a good contact and so it wont crack during installation.

    Any suggestions?

Or it is in the mirror itself. Do both mirrors behave the same way?

I did get another bad switch, but i re-soldered the one i pulled from the junk yard and it worked fine for the first 2 days, then went haywire again afterwards.

Yes both mirrors behave the same way. When i switch it to the middle where it doesn't control either mirrors, it stops, but as soon as i switch it to any mirror, it goes haywire.

          I had the same issue.

          Buy a new switch.
