So I popped open my hood to check for a coolant leak. While looking around, I saw that my number one cylinder had rust, or was leaking.

Ideas?

looks like just rust.If it was fuel the area around it would look clean an new. I think the bleeder valve for coolant is in that area. The only hoses that run that high would be the ones to your throttle body i believe. You would surly see a coolant leak if that is what it was though i would think. But dont take my word on that. Crank engine let it run to temp an see if u have a leak around that area.

Thanks for your advice, but this isn't the coolant thread.
But, My coolant leak is minuscule. I'm trying to catch it before it becomes bigger.

You talking about the rust on the injector? I don't think that's an issue. The black junk on it looks like an oil leak probably from the back of the valve cover.
