Ok I'm trying to get my speedo to work again. I've replace d the vss sensor and the gauge cluster and still nothing. After a few minutes of driving the check engine light comes on. I need to know the location of the vss wires on the ecu harness so I can replace it. I'm sure there must be a short between the vss and the ecu.

Yes I have replaced the sensor with a brand new 100 dollar sensor and still nothing... So I've ruled out the sensor. I Returned the new sensor ( because 100 dollars for a sensor is rediculous) and purchased a couple from the junk yard. But something new has happen since the problem accured. While driving sometimes the speedo moves, the needles moves up to 10mph while I'm doing like 50+Originally posted by evil_demon_01 View PostWith a known good one?

So did you inspect the gear under the VSS? Does the VSS have fluid running through it? Have you tried pulling the 5v square wave signal from the sensor directly?1993 SE Coupe MRT - 1992 LX Sedan MRT
