    2 strange problems

I have some things going on with my car that im not really sure what they are...they are fairly hard to explain so ill do my best.

    1. the stupid clutch. In the mornings my clutch is completely normal. but after i drive to school or work, ill eventually start to hear a "clicking" noise when i push the clutch in. it usualyl clicks 2-4 times when i put the clutch in. but after i let it sit overnight, it is completely fine. The click sounds like it is comming from somewhere around the slave cylinder, but could possible by comming from inside the transmition it self. Im completely stumped as to what is going on, and the fact that its fine in the mornings and then starts after iv been driving for a while makes me even more confused.

in relation to this problem, (this is kinda hard to explain), when i take off in first like normal and then take my foot off the gas WITHOUT shifting in to second (as to slow the car down and come to a stop) i hear a very distinct knock (not like a pinging), comming from somewhere in the engine area. im wondering if this is related.

problem 2 is comming from my rear passenger side wheel. at first i thought it was a suspension sqeek, but lately it is definitly more of a rotational noise, when i push hard on my brakes it goes away, but after i take my foot off the brake the noise comes back. any ideas? im guess brake pads or somthing.

any help would be great thanks.

yah just look at your brakes that will be a better determination for that.

did you just put in a new clutch? to me that suggests a bad throwout bearing. Can you feel the popping? Does it get louder as it warms up more? do yo u have a blown speaker?

have you checked your motor mounts? i would get a clicking noise if i got off the gas turned out to be rear mount issue.

throw out bearing was my first guess. but i couldnt understand why it would only happen after driving for a while. yes it does get louder as time progresses and i can feel it in the peddle. and no its definitly not a blown speaker lol.

Hey Eric, that noise from the back...I dunno if it's related but it looked to me when you drove past me that your pass. rear wheel had a bit more bounce in it than it should.

what the hell ar you talking about sparkle? the noises are not comming from the engine..one is comming from the CLUTCH and the other noise is comming from the back of my car. i know what bad bearings sound like. as much as you would like to see it happen, my engine isnt blowing up, get over it.

on another note...a new description of the rear wheel sqweek is that it sounds kinda like a sprinkler. again, it stops completely when i touch the brakes. ill look into what you said mike (accordwarrior) thanks.

I think a good way to describe the clutch noise would be when a starter clicks from a dead battery.

Bad bushings ? from the rear the clutch rattling sound. I sense alot of frustration form you ohwell who cares. Sounds travel i say its your bearing from the motor dont rule that out . I dont give 2 shits about your car reguardless your not makin as not even half the power im makin now but anyhow.

Maybe a springs is about to give on the clutch or a flywheel bolt came out. Or just maybe by slight chance that throwout bearing is about to give you said you can feel it in the pedal huh. Well that sounds like a throwout bearing to me you cant explain why its a bearing bearings go at anytime they feel like it thats how it is so you get over it and change it . when your ready for some real power turn up the boost if you dare.

just like the old days with these two in one thread together lol.

Possible warped rotors maybe for the rear wheel well problem? And it is way past due for you to get a new clutch. Clutches make all kinds of weird sounds and symptoms when they're about to go out.

I would like to go with the throw out bearing on this for your clutch noise. As for the squeak in the back, check if its a combo of, shock getting old, and lower control arm hitting against the muffler pipe, or anything related to such.
