no problem, that's what we are all here for
without this forum..it would take a century to get the damn bumper off or paint a headlight LOL

if the actual reflectance came off, well that's another issue.
there's two things you can do.
    1. if its not horrible, let it be and see if it affects your light output, more than likely it wont if its tiny scattered spots. if you have large chunks, your kinda S.O.L.
    2. go to the junkyard and find another set and retry the blackhouse, just make sure to use blue drywall tape to keep it from stripping the reflectance.

    hope this helps

So uh I just finished my blackhousing...and turned out only ok...

As in...as I was taking off the tape...bits and pieces of the reflector paint came off.

What do you guys suggest if not mentioned already?

    Beams

So ok in case the question wasnt already asked do I need to upgrade the bulb to a brighter one or can i keep the stock bulbs for the black housed

The corner markers work the same way mine are from the 90 cb

hey great write up but i think using engine paint from local autozone/advance is better than the krylon bbq paint, i tried it to see if it be easier/better but the paint kept peeling off even after securing the tape, using str8 edge against the tape to seperate paint from tape and even peeling in diffrent directions and still had a small piece rip here and there but since ive always used the engine paint i redid it with it and just to test a theory i pulled tape hard and not a single tear....but overall great writeup

i didnt, not needed. If you did, let the paint cure for 24 hours so it doesnt come up with the tape

I did the DIY ... i just wanted to show it off. Everything came out good. I used that yellow stained glass spray paint. That stuff was awesome. I also did my blinkers... they were clear (90-91 stanley's).
