LOL You should see what happened to a guy I know who spent over $30K modding his E36 M3. It's not even driveable! LOL It's been sitting in his garage for over 4 year now. He got the engine fully built and tried to keep it OBDII. It NEVER ran correctly! Oh well.

Which antenna did you go with? Do you happen to have any pics of the install of it? I looked into the Sharkfin antenna and it looks like a difficult upgrade.

Also, do you have a ballpark estimate on how much I can expect to pay for a paint job like yours? I know the prices vary, but I am just trying to get an idea.

I did not take any picture of the installation but it is very easy... just measure where you like.. center it then drill and install.... you will need to connect a power/remote wire to the radio and reroute the radio antenna cable from side to the to the roof...oem cable wire will reach.
The BMW shark style is difficult to do because no one has a complete kit for sale... howver if you buy the same kit that I bought it is very easy to convert to the BMW shark fin. There are BMW sharkfin conversion kit all over ebay.

Price for a complete paintjob/body restored is around $1200-$1500 which includes forum member discount.
