no updates. the battery is dead now. i dunno how to charge an optima battery other than jumping it and driving around. she needs to be driven. at least i changed her oil haha.

i was told by a mechanic that you cant recharge those so if you spent $200 on one then your SOL. lol

Pull the battery and take it to autozone. Have them check to make sure it can still hold charge and charge it. When you get back home just put the battery back in the car and leave it disconnected until you need to drive the CB.

You can also get one of those on/off terminals for the ground wire. It has a pin you can screw in and out that will complete the circuit from the battery to the chassis/ground. I put one of these in the s13 track car since it sits for months at a time and it was worked great.

you can recharge optima's i have done it a few times. and autozone will recharge it for free. And please give us some updates. this is the car that made me leave the cd5 family.
