Come ride around in my neighborhood. They pave an entire street every year, hell, they just got done paving one right by my house.

I understand how you feel about the accords. No matter what you do, it's still an accord. It's not just the wagons man, my sedan is barely under 3k but with me in it, it goes over that mark and we're pretty much the same in height/weight. Civics are nice but everyone and their mama got one down here. Just think of it like this, why make the wagon a daily when it has the potential to be one(and pretty much the only one I seen) of the best wagons down here. No one really cares for accords down here, so why not step the game up on the civics/integras and make them respect yours as an equal. That's why I haven't given up on the accord. I thought about it, but why give in when it's better to make them take notice and not be "just another accord".

Stick with the wagon man. Civics aren't "fast"... they just look like it when they're lowered Anyway, how did the meet go? You take pics?
Very well put, I and see what you're saying. I'm not getting out of the game, just trying to rethink things and see what I've got. I'm still going to have to get another car either way, whether the wagon becomes my daily or not.

Yeah, I took about 300 pictures at the meet and about 100 turned out worth saving. The lighting was odd because of the constant changing overcast mist, so I took multiple shots of everything. I'm in the process of editing them and I'll have the posted probably tomorrow.

There isn't anyone I'd trust more than you when it comes to modding wagons Felipe! I'll definitely look into that combo if you say it rides good even with gemini in the car

I don't know about that. I'm more of a guy that replaces, not trades. Especially with something like this. Don't think I want to get ride of the Type II's if I ever get a sedan or coupe

Yes, wagons are baller for sound systems. Check further back in this MR thread and you'll see my fiberglass box. That ish was dope.

Thanks, the subs aren't actually that great. My Pioneer's spoiled me in terms of SQL. The Sony's are just meh

how low did you actually set it? and whats it normally set at?
For the meet I had it maxed out at the lowest level possible both in the front and the rear. I usually ride around about an inch above that daily. I currently have it set about and inch higher than that in the front and about half an incher higher than I used to in the back. How I have it set know looks a little 4x4 to me but it rides so much smother.

Yeah, I don't think coilovers and wagons like each other too much. I'll have to figure out how low I can ride with what I've got at a comfortable level and then make a decision whether to keep or go for a real nice spring/shock system (or dropzones like you did).

    I'm sure they'll pass though.

Ever thought of replacing your F2's with a good shock/spring combo?
You wouldn't be able to go as low, but you'll definitely have a "softer" ride.
Hmm, haven't really thought about that. I will have to check around and see what's available. I remember being set on the SuperCup kit back in the day. Maybe that's what I need. To be completely honest, I think it has to do with the fact that it's a wagon. I know riding dumped makes your ride quality suffer, but I've been in CB's pretty damn low and they didn't seem as bad as mine does. Then again, I'm talking about Alabama highways, which have to be the shittiest roads ever made. I think ancient Rome had better roads than this place does

I've become highly displeased with my car. This is for a number of reasons. First, the ride height. I lowered my car as much as I possibly could for the meet this weekend and I thought it looked great. However, the car rides like absolute shit. I mean, not just bouncy, but bouncy to the point where I am afraid for my life. To be honest, my back is killing me right now from the 20 minute ride back from work. And keep in mind, this is using a full blown high dollar coilover system, not shitty ebay parts. If my car bounces like it does with Type II's I don't know how people with eBay coilovers drive and not die. Meanwhile, civics will drive by me in their cars and be at stock height and not much higher than me. Therefore, I'm raising my car WAY up and it's going to stay like that for a long time. I will lower it SOME for meets and such, but it's not worth sacrificing my enjoyment of driving the car.

Second, I feel like this car has *somewhat* of a limited potential. Sure, there are a million things I can do and parts I could buy and what-not, but at the end of the day, this car is an Accord wagon that weighs about 3 grand loaded with me in it. If I wanted to drive fast, I'd buy a civic coupe or hatch and drive that. I know my car is unique, and that's one reason why this ISN'T a "I'm getting out of the game" post. This is more of a "I'm rethinking the game" post. At this point in my life I see that there are many things far more important than building up this car. At the same time, I am DEFINITELY going to stay in the game and keep working with this platform. Most likely, this car will become the daily driver and I'll pick up some other car to mess around with. It will probably be a civic because of the massive amounts of parts available. I'm never going to leave the site (duh) and I'll continue to help up when I can. That being said, don't expect to see 10+ posts a day from me.

    Cliffnotes:

    1) Car pisses me off
    2) Done with a lowered wagon
    3) Keeping the car as a daily
    4) Don't ask to buy any of my parts

When I got it there were no brackets or screws. Still, should have known better.
