yes guys both shots were cropped. i mostly took out some of the foreground that was taking away from the image. So far im very happy with the lens and how sharp it is. Next step is to shoot a but during the day and see how it performs.

You picked up the 17-70mm right? So those are just at 17mm and it has the cool of a perspective? The 18-55mm I have does NOT look like that at 18mm.
