Idk I messed up somewhere, there's rubbing on the passenger side like a constant rubbing. When I went down the block, there was little Pedal pressure like it took a few pumps to get it to stop.

Man I'm done with these drums.

I wish I could afford to take it off the road to do that but not in the cards.

I just learned the bus, but you could maybe put the old shoes in as a very temporary fix. and get some O'riley shoes, it is what I bought and it fit fine. Was a very limited drive down the block but seemed fine, then again I did not need to change the shoes in the first place.

I used Bendix brand shoes when I did my rear brakes and Carlson for the spring kit. That was before I did the 5 lug conversion. When I did the conversion I just swapped the hub and the drums.

Old shoes no, not an option. The one side was worn pretty bad so not an option.

I just put OEM shoes on my wagon with a similar problem. Make sure both ends of the shoes are seated properly. You could even bleed a little fluid from the wheel cylinder to make sure the pistons can be retracted all the way (a clamp across the shoes helps). My drums were worn very nicely, but had a bit of a lip. I mounted them inside out, then used an 80 grit Scotchbrite disc to remove the lip and clean up the entire surface. I was then able to get the drum over the shoes.

I replaced the drums because 1 side had a few cracks in it.

The wheel cylinder popped apart on the driver side, so I might need to bleed but I'm not sure as to why the passenger side is rubbing so bad.

On the 6 extrusions on the rear cover might need some polishing. Could be years of build up pushing the shoes out.

I scraped the crud off before reinstalling, used brake clean, I retightened the ebrake cable and gave it a yank a few times... Supposed to center the drums I guess. Still have no pedal pressure, I pump it before going and then it loses it soon after, it takes a couple of pumps while in motion to get the brakes to engage.

I have to go to work now but I'm going to try a full bleed tomorrow morning, any idea how much fluid I need?

Damn you Americans and your non metric systems lol. Ok thanks.

I did say the cylinder popped... Was that the answer to my problem all along a brake bleed?

As long as you weren't jumping on the brake pedal with the piston out and you didn't lose much fluid, then you should only have to bleed the one wheel. If the fluid is very dark in the master cylinder, go ahead and bleed the whole system (pull as much fluid out of the master cylinder as you can, then start bleeding at the wheels until you get clean fluid).
