2769. No kids, and I'm single. Yeah I know it's interest free, but I use the government as a savings account.

      Filed today.

A refund that's almost enough to buy two engineering text books or maybe a few cheese steaks depending on one's perspective.

Expecting around 2.5-3k. All going towards paying off the wife's 07' Accord. Should be paid off in March. I'm excited, since we haven't even owned it for 2 years!

but it is nice to have some extra cash all of a sudden lol.
...if only there were still places that had high interest savings accounts. ING has fallen under 1% and most of the other places I've seen that have higher interest (co-ops and stuff) there are a lot of inconvenient terms to go along with it.

I was on disability for a couple of months in 2011, so I haven't a clue what I'll end up getting. I am going to put it towards a 2012 Tacoma though. Hopefully I'll have a new job by late spring/early summer and I'll have approximately 25% to put down.

I'm only getting back a little over $1100 because I'm 22, single, with no kids, but I'll probably just pay off the remainder of my new Macbook pro then use the rest towards planning a small vacation

The reason im getting fucked is cuz i claimed waaay to much and had very little taxes taken out for the first 6months of the year b4 i caught it and changed it to the correct amount by claiming a 0, guess i should claimed a 00 to break even
i claimed 0 all the way so i will be getting money back, dunno how much yet

I haven't filed yet because i was waiting on my documents. I reckon i'll know for sure by next Sunday.

I think i'll pay down some bills and sit on the rest or buy brake components for the Accord.

The past couple years I've either been very slightly under or very slightly over. As cool as it is to have a nice chunk of cash suddenly, I prefer to have my money during the year when I need it. So if I get any back this year, great, I'll get something for the CB. If not, or if I owe... better luck next year I suppose.

For the people in college, you guys are getting an education credit of some sort right?
I was surprised by that last year and got an extra $1500 back which i ended up giving to my mom so she could pay off her car.
