2769. No kids, and I'm single. Yeah I know it's interest free, but I use the government as a savings account.

...if only there were still places that had high interest savings accounts. ING has fallen under 1% and most of the other places I've seen that have higher interest (co-ops and stuff) there are a lot of inconvenient terms to go along with it.Originally posted by Ralphie View PostWell if you want to save money for bills and projects then open a high interest savings/cd/etc
just be weary of the penalties etc...
but it is nice to have some extra cash all of a sudden lol.
I was on disability for a couple of months in 2011, so I haven't a clue what I'll end up getting. I am going to put it towards a 2012 Tacoma though. Hopefully I'll have a new job by late spring/early summer and I'll have approximately 25% to put down.

i claimed 0 all the way so i will be getting money back, dunno how much yetOriginally posted by Cb_JoeyG View PostYea that would be the Ideal way of doing it, but at the same times it nice at the beginning of the year to have a lump sum of cash to catch up on bills with. The reason im getting fucked is cuz i claimed waaay to much and had very little taxes taken out for the first 6months of the year b4 i caught it and changed it to the correct amount by claiming a 0, guess i should claimed a 00 to break even

The past couple years I've either been very slightly under or very slightly over. As cool as it is to have a nice chunk of cash suddenly, I prefer to have my money during the year when I need it. So if I get any back this year, great, I'll get something for the CB. If not, or if I owe... better luck next year I suppose.
