I'm honestly not sure what magazine it was in. It was back in either 2005 or 2006 though. I remember going with my mom to go buy a copy of it

But yeah he's the guy who built it from a regular 2000 Mitsubishi mirage LS coupe. If you saw it when it was red that's the guy who bought it from him

After that car he owned two evo 8s that he didn't like. He built another evo 5/6 from the ground up pp, fresh as fuck only to sell it for essentially $30k and go buy himself an e90 m3

      Here's the sedan

Don't forget to look at the second page to see how clean that thing really way

Funny shit though, he doesn't take any of these to the track. Just cruises around in them.

People who build their cars for fuel efficiency. They're very popular for that.

My best friend had a couple of Starions in the mid 90's and they re awesome! Good handling and a little laggy but lots of fun. The Starion/Conquest also introduced the world to the Bad Ass 4G63 engine.

My bother's car is one you dont see often on the road. VW Corrado

They introduced the REST of the world to the 4G63... we got the weirdo 2.6L.

I do love me some Starion/Conquest, though! Although I see few of them, every one I see is treated like a classic... in fantastic shape, not beat on. I wouldn't call them unlikely enthusiast cars, just uncommon these days.
