Eeww, the hideous red interior! But it does give me an idea I feel stupid for not realizing before: keep an eye on more than just Northern Colorado's CL listings for a good-condition CB for when I do finally finish my restorations and come up with the funds for a new car...

Anyone know of a place that rebuilds turbos and balances the shafts?

Turbo- 2 different schools of thought I guess. I'm a fan of over-beefing builds personally. I'm also stunned that factory Honda h/g cost you $100 a pop. They cost me around $65, but I do have a discount.... If need be, I would possibly be able to help out discount-wise on factory parts. You'd hafta make a journey to the springs though....

Thanks for the welcome! The only thing Ive done to my car so far is an intake, and basic maintenance. Ive got some springs and new struts coming, along with a P12 ecu. The car has 170k on her, but runs like it only has 10k. I think Im going to just put together a very tame F22a1 (150 or so hp) and drop it in. Nothing crazy or wild. Then build up the suspension, a nice set of wheels an rubber and enjoy the car. Im not into drag racing anymore. Road racing has always been my forte but I don't really have the time to get heavily into it anymore. Id like to attend some meets or something though and meet up with some other cb owners.

I've got the same handling-over-power preference, but the extra grunt of an H22 would be welcome help climbing the steep inclines around the local reservoir.

Pikes Peak broke my car! It's leaking coolant and overheating... again. Only this time I couldn't spot the source; I'll look into it in the morning when I'm not so tired and annoyed (left at 4am, reached Springs city limits in 1 hr, 24 min). Got pulled over for doing 75 in a 65 but no ticket.

Unfortunately neither Tajima nor Millen broke 10 minutes in the hill climb, but I had some fun leaving the place. The in-bound lane was closed off to drivers coming up to the mountain and everyone was given the go-ahead to use both lanes. Me and a rear-drive AE86 raced down, just flying past everybody. Methinks I'm slightly more confident in the corners...

EDIT - for a minute I thought it was the head gasket with where it was spraying out, but luckily the heater hose right next to it blew. I forgot to check other symptoms (milky oil, for one) in my panic.
