My car is running low compression, about 120 psi per cylinder, the mininum allowed is 135 psi.
If all cylinders are consistant, you are probably okay. Most likely the oil went below the plug gasket as you were taking them out.

so i bought an amp today

          Total Mobile Audio T500.1
500W RMS Class B Monoblock Subwoofer Amplifier

power wires are connected properly (or atleast after looking at it over and over more then 5 times)

the amp light is green which mean it is working properly.

but no boom coming out from the subs.

          its properly grounded
          power is connected right
          the remote wire is connected
the left and right sub woofer output from the radio is connected to the left and right input to the amp

the power and negative polaritys are correct from the sub to the connectors
the polarity wires are correct going from the amp to the sub.

my deck is saying that the sub option is ON
          so wth is going on?

edit: my homie is coming over because he has subs in his car and im gonna test if its my sub thats malfunctioning

following leo home saw blue smog bellow as she accelerated from a dead stop. then i said uh-oh she's burning oil. upon inspection i found oil in the tips of spark plugs wires of cyl 2 and 4. oil level is still ok. could it just be the tube seals?! hopefully... any insight?

Erratic idle! Help! Ok the H has an erratic idle. It dips from time to time and its getting a little annoying. First I thought it was the TPS. I changed it to the F22 TPS, and properly set the TPS using the DIY I found on here. Then I went ahead and changed the part below #13. The old one was showing rust, and Jesus said it should be replaced. But the idle is still acting up. What gives? Am I running too many electronic items? HID's, 1 Amp, I have a capacitor for my audio equipment...? Maybe I should try to ground everything better? Any help would be appreciated!

                  Thanks

The PCV valve is new, that got replaced with the seals before the motor was installed. I will go back and check the hoses but im sure they are good too. The fan does turn on, I got a new t-stat on there as well.

Joesue, The IACV is that #17 in the diagram? Im pretty sure it is. Because #14 is the Air boost valve.

Thanks for the help! We'll see where it takes me.

Paul, did you tighten the plunger inside assy # 13?

You see where number 2 is?

If not uncrew the 2 screws that hold that little plate on. Under the plate you will see a plunger which has two notches on each side. Get a fat screwdriver and tighten it. Over time this plunger comes loose and causes the erratic idle.

Also as Josue said.. The Iac might be taking a shiet..

I vote IACV as well. I'm pretty sure mine is going out. If I disconnect it, the idle does not drop a little as it is supposed to, it just stays the same. If I am running the A/C the idle constantly drops, to the point the car occasionally stalls.

This is exactly the problem I have... I cant run the ac without the idle dipping.

And Craig the Fast Idle Valve (I think )#13 is new... should I still try and tighten it?

I think it should be fine if you bought it brand new.. I thought it was a new junkyard find..
                                I say IAC Valve..
