ANY BUYING/SELLING IN THIS FORUM WILL RESULT IN AN INSTANT BAN!

Read the rules: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43956

Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

The rules for the overall forum can be found here:

    Needing seats... Any suggestions?

Hey guys. My 93 cb7 is an se model, and it has leather, beige interior, and the works.. I need seats, very badly. The leather on the driver seat is torn to shreads, and the seat is falling off.. The passenger only has a few rips, and the back seat has a huge rip in the middle. Basically, I need all new seats.. I've looked up seat wraps with no results. I can't possibly afford racing seats, and I don't want to settle for no name eBay seats. What is the best deal for fixing my seat problem available. I would like to keep a clean beige layout as well. I've checked junkyards, nothing. I don't care if it's leather, I just want my interior to look decent. It really makes me lose pride in my car.

If you have checked jyards and seen NOTHING then I dont think we can help you. Custom seats require custom rails and you are looking at hundreds vs a few $20's for a direct bolt in, albeit perhaps not cloth. We have the easiest single model to find in jyards. If you must replace with a different color then you can easily pull front and rear seats, even entire interior for still much less than half of 'racing' seats on ebay or wherever. Do some searching on here, you can use 5th gen accord seats and a number of other honda seats as well with some modification (using your old brackets on prelude seats for instance).

All your easily available options are in threads on cb7tuner. Also I would suggest looking for people parting out accords on craigslist, sometimes you can get lucky that way as well. Lude seats on clist are often easy to find also.

Two beige front seats Probly won't take that many yard trips. It could be sped up if you would except newer accords, acura cl tl, I have rl in my fronts right now cause I drive 60 miles a day. There's a way to make any of them work...if you find beige seats that don't have rips drag one over to a cb and see if its possible. Some are direct bolt some will mount to your track. Maybe if your bottoms are good but backs are bad you can use a lot of diferent backs with your cb bottom.

I had a local custom upholsterer repair the leather seats in my EX. It can get pretty pricey, but he did a good job on the driver seat (several sections of both bottom and back) and the top of the rear seat cushion.

Keep in mind that you don't necessarily need leather. There are probably a lot more LX and EX models with tan cloth seats and the cloth holds up much better than the leather.

Best best for OEM is to find someone parting one out. Unfortunately, many in the JY have been exposed to the weather.

2 door or 4 door? Be patient with your post count and you will be able to access the site classifieds.

you can look for rsx seats, they have tan leather ones (actually have them in my car) and depending on how well you look im sure you can get a deal on them...... got mine for 60 bucks lol. as for the back i think you can fit legend rear seats and maybe the vigor ones, there is a thread that list all the seat's that fit into our cars both front and rear.

Type G got a leather kit from Katzskin ( google it ) they dont have our car listed under their selection but you can call them and they will give you what you need. if not you can always get the 94-98 accord kit and get some junker seats to rewrap.

let me know what they quote you cuz I want to rewrap mine as well.

94-97 Sedan seats are a direct fit, front and rear. Seems leather is a little more common in those years

right, like a few pounds is really going to make a difference every day. Oh. You want light seats to offset that heavy fiberglass bodykit you installed?
