Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

          Wow, there's so much misinformation in this thread, it's nuts.

          Okay, most pictures on Ebay aren't the actual items that you are receiving. Most of the pictures I saw with no flexpipe are from Civics, which, to the best of my recollection, don't have flexpipes.

          All Megan headers for the Accord DO indeed have flexpipes. There is no bolt on flexpipe. You can have a new one welded on, but not bolted on. The Megan header will bolt directly to your stock or aftermarket cat/test pipe.

          A good quality header will produce better gains than an El Cheapo, to a point. However, at which point the horsepower/dollar ratio becomes unrealistic is up to the buyer.

          From what I've seen and heard, the Megan and DC pieces are comparable for the F22. For the H22, the weak spot on the DC header, and thus the Megan and all other copies is the collector, which is too small. DC has taken an initiative to release a header with a larger collector to circumvent this problem. It's widely thought that the stock JDM exhaust manifold on the H22 is better than most aftermarket midlevel headers, and CERTAINLY better than the el cheapo ones. However, when you start getting into the RMF and SMSP pieces, you will see large gains, but of course, the prices reflect this.

          So yes, when you buy a header off Ebay it WILL have a flex pipe.

          Is it sad that I was waiting to see when someone was going to make the "OMFG It's header not headers" comment?

                          I was going to order a header from ebay and I was wondering something. Some of them come with test pipe/high flow cat, would it be worth getting one of those? I'll post links to the ones I had in mind and you can tell me your opinions.
