Front OEM Bumper Opinions Please...

Like the title states, I'm curious about your opinions on front bumpers.

My three options are these:

*92-93 OEM Bumper with small EDM round fog lights mounted in the empty bumper space

*92-93 OEM Bumper with cut outs made to fit JDM fog lights

*90-91 OEM Bumper with JDM fog lights

My current front end:


Option1:
Retrofitted round EDM fogs:


Option2:
A 92-93 front bumper JDM'd out:


Option 3:
A 90-91 front bumper JDM'd out:



This is going on my 93 coupe, keep that in mind! I didn't post in other sections because I feel it is offtopic. After all opinions are like @$$holes, we all have one and they all stink!

If you don't plan on changeling your headlights and grill stick with 92-93 bumper.

I can get the 90-91 bumper from a JY on the cheap, the only real cost will be the fogs and JDM and USDM fogs run about the same cost. I'm going to repaint back to stock color. I'm really on the fence with these options and like all 3 is the problem so that is why I ask. I see a con with cutting my own fogs into my smooth bumper, I'm afraid I might not cut them even level and clean and I'll have to get another bumper anyway. I know several have done this but a 90-91 bumper has the easy to cut out grill where the fogs go and may be harder to mess up. Are there cutout stencils available to make sure I don't cut too much or any tips on how to cut my front bumper? When I cut them in for JDM fogs, do I need to fabricate a bracket? I tried to figure out how they mount the other day when I had my bumper off for the Legend lip install.

Are the headlights and grill really different from year to year? The ones I was playing with in the JY the other day for a 90-91 seemed like they had the same bolt locations and same size. I kinda like the grill from the 90 model with the more chrome and the Honda emblem you can see through and almost got it just to put it on my car anyway.

To be honest I am leaning in the #2 direction myself, but just fear destroying my bumper when cutting it, maybe I'll practice in the JY on another bumper first.

I could be mistaken, can you explain the difference between the EDM and JDM fog lights? I thought it was JDM like this one http://www.ebay.com/itm/90-93-Honda-...sories&vxp=mtr with clear turn signals.

Sorry i was thinking of my car. I've got a 9091 bumper so if i wanted to get the 9293 bumper, i'd have to get the headlights and the grille also but you're fine.

I have 92-93 USDM fogs. I like them, and if you get lucky you can find a set in the junkyard cheap. I got charged 40 for the full set including OEM harness. Sold the harness for cheap at 45 and free fogs!

Plus you don't have to re-paint the bumper, it'll still match
