So turns out that the oil inlet thread in the 14b is not 7/16th like i thought it was. I know a few people on here were having problems with their feed lines leaking and thats because of the thread pattern on their fitting. The correct thread pitch and bolt size for my application was 12mm by 1.25 thread pitch. Im sure this is the same for ALL dsm turbos being that every bolt on that car is metric. even the stealthmode oil line kit was 7/16th... weird.
so if anyone wants to know I rigged up the -4 steel line to a few adapters:
Russell (edelbrock) part # 614806
Earl's (Holley) part # 9892064ERL
Earl's part # 991945ERL
These things are not cheap but for me it was the quickest and seemingly best way to go.
Got my charge pipes done:
I had the dsm pipe handy that begins the charge pipes so I cut off the flange and bolted it to the turbo. then I determined where the pipe should point and marked its orientation on the flange. then i had it welded in that position as well as a 2.5inch to 2inch reducer put on the end. turned out well i think:
all i need now is to hook up my A/F gauge and install Midnights' chip by the way, does anyone here know for sure what wire to run the air fuel gauge to on the o2 sensor????? I have heard both white and green but does anyone know for sure?
