Please DO NOT Post In The General Section

From this point on until otherwise briefed, posting in the general section of Performance Tech is prohibited. The only thing to remain here will be the stickies. We would just delete this section, but that would cause unintended results.


The majority of the threads created can appropriately be placed in one of the Performance Tech sub-forums or Technical; and the posting of them here is detrimental to the activity of said forums. If you have any questions about where you need to place your thread PM me or one of the other mods.


For the most part you all have caught on without this post, but there have been a few habitual offenders that forced me to say this.


Everyone will get a couple of warnings from here on out, after that I just start deleting threads.

              my friend baught a similar one from them with 2.5 in inlet to practice welding. but to me his(same as one pictured) looked pretty crappy in actuality.

                  look at meineke catalogs, they sell a brand called Volt. they are nice and fairly inexpensive mufflers. all welds are nice on them and they are stainless inside and outside and they sound niice

                      the Apexi WS comes in just a muffler now. i think theres one with a 3 inch inlet if you want quiet . . . if not . . . the N1 turbo muffler is always a good pick.

                        aren't apexi's expensive and loud? I really need something cheap and quiet. I also bought a 3" cat to help keep things on the quiet side.

                          the WS is VERY quiet. I have one on my 5th gen. its like stock at idle, but really opens up at WOT. I just checked eaby . . . and yea they are kinda expensive, you would be looking at about 200 bucks shipped for one.

                            idk man....I'm trying to buy urbanrunner's wideband right now and looking to get a dynomax muffler cause they are less than 70 bucks...so idk yet.

                              just throwing it out there . . . i honestly dont know of anything quieter . . . I would definitley say that a wideband is something thats lots more important than a muffler tho, i mean, you could just use the exhaust you have now till you can save up and get a muffler for the piping you have right?

                                yea...but I rather run open downpipe then thru my old exhaust system.
