Please DO NOT Post In The General Section

From this point on until otherwise briefed, posting in the general section of Performance Tech is prohibited. The only thing to remain here will be the stickies. We would just delete this section, but that would cause unintended results.

The majority of the threads created can appropriately be placed in one of the Performance Tech sub-forums or Technical; and the posting of them here is detrimental to the activity of said forums. If you have any questions about where you need to place your thread PM me or one of the other mods.

For the most part you all have caught on without this post, but there have been a few habitual offenders that forced me to say this.

Everyone will get a couple of warnings from here on out, after that I just start deleting threads.

Again if you have any questions, PM me or one of the other mods.

    Custom plenum spacers available

Hey guys just thought I would make these available if any one was interested. I have seen a number of posts about staking AIBs to get a little more out of our cars. As you guys know you got to find an AIB plat take all the valves out fill all the holes and hope there are no vacuum leaks. Well I have the solution I am making CNC plats to custom fit your car. I will also be making TB spacers to. If any one is interested in these parts PM me. Here is a picture of an AIB spacer for the h22.

interesting. same theory as jb weld but looks a hell of a lot nicer.
do you have any interest in cnc'ing some that remove all 8 ports?
    making it one large port.

I would be very interested in those!!!
and when do you intend to make these?

for info: h22/h23/f22 spacers are all the same.

I think that making them with one large hole (as a perimeter spacer) wouldn't be as beneficial to torque as keeping them as seperate runners. It's my understanding that the benefit from the additional low end would outweigh anything one big hole would do. I also think that it would create more turbulence in the transition to the runners, since you'd have one large column of air trying to sort itself out and flow through the runners as opposed to the eight smaller smoother flowing columns that existed once the air passed the plenum's bottom plate, especially if you're using this as an additional spacer with the working IAB plate and butterflies.

vh22 - Are you going to make spacers for both the f and the h TB?

spacers are identical between F and H man.
edit: <- for spacers not TB!

as far as losing low end, haha I was thinking with MY mindstate!

Throttle body spacers are different. My F TB doesn't fit on my H plenum.

lol, I always think about the low end.

I can. I just need to know what plenum and TB you are wanting to use.

Wanted to give you a friendly warning. Blacktrax sells their spacer, both with 8 ports and modified to one huge port, for $75. The blacktrax spacer has the benefit of isolating heat from the plenum. You'll want to take this into consideration before setting a price for your spacer!
