    Alignment After Rear Disc Swap

When I do my rear disc conversion will a rear wheel alignment for toe be needed. Other information that my be useful is my trailing arms are from CD5 and I will be getting the cross member and sway bar from a CL keeping CB lower control arms.

I did not know it was possible to do toe alignment on these cars.

I can't speak to the specific components you're using, but whatever is done (even a CB7 to CB7 swap), you should have the rear alignment done. A rough alignment to get it to a shop can be done with a long straightedge. Make sure the fronts wheels are as straight as possible, then hold the straightedge across the face of the rear tire (try to avoid raised letters) and adjust so that it points at the outer face of the front tires.

The rears do have a small amount of toe adjustment I believe. Once thing to consider, since you are using CD trailing arms, they actually stick farther out than the CB ones (since the CD has larger fender wells). I believe they stick out about an inch farther. I'm not sure if you'll have to use the CD LCAs or not.

I think that is the Vigor, but I do not know if the CD is the same.
            Thanks for the info.

yes all of our cars (cb7 and cb9) have rear toe alignment settings. just not camber (from factory).

so to answer your question, yes its a good idea to get it set after all this is done.

Think of it this way. When was the last time your vehicle was aligned anyway...
