"torn up"? Dude, don't do anything you will regret later. It just isn't worth it.

I recommend you don't go to the stratosphere and try the rides at the top. Sadly, I was totally disappointed, as the roller coaster was shut down and the other rides were poop.

The NY-NY Casino's roller coaster, however, is awesome and worth checking out.

Outside of getting a DUI (I'm not even picking up a rental) and sinful doings, I'll be fine. One guy woke up last year on the other side of the city in a homeless shelter, no phone, no wallet. He promised someone money to drive him to the proving grounds a few hours away. There's a pool going at work as to the condition which my boss will find us. One of my mechanics is actually in on my wallet getting stolen by a hooker lol. These Vegas trips are when the dynamics guys are expected to do stupid shit. Work hard play hard is or motto.

It's also my bosses last trip as our supervisor. He's moving on to bigger better things, SRT WK VIR (head honcho in charge of the SRT Grand Cherokee development), so he's planning a day in Vegas after the trip. We're all gonna get torn up lol.

          I'll be there too!

Got a couple family birthdays and it's our anniversary. Gonna head up tomorrow afternoon and stay til Monday.

If you're into shows, see a Cirque De Soleil. Doesn't really matter which one, but the Beatles show is awesome if you like their music. Best buffets are the Rio and the Wynn. There's a tram you can take that starts at the MGM Grand and runs along the strip, which will help save money on taxis. The bus sucks because it's so full. For getting torn up, find a bar/club with an atmosphere you like as they're all pretty similar after that.

I recommend zumanity and O for the shows. Zumanity has boobs and an awesome show and O is still my favorite show. But it sounds like you want to hit the bars, not sure where to go for that. But Vegas is fun. Be safe and have a shit load of fun man.

Well, Vegas was fun. I have the hangover to prove it.

                    Same here...

So this work trip I'm on is a bit crazy. I leave the hotel at 6:15 and don't get back until midnight or later. We have a 45 dollar per day limit on food. Free breakfast and lunch means 30 dollar steak or lobster plus one beer every day. Then we party after dinner all night. I've put about 3500 miles on a Dart since Tuesday. My testing has been coming out to 8 hours of time on the high speed oval a day doing 100+ most of the time. 70 seems so slow now. Especially when I don't need to steer on the banks so I can set the cruise at 100 and work on the laptop to change acquisition settings for about the minute it takes to get back to the straight. It's 70-80 and sunny everyday. And the best part is, I'm make twice as much each day than my base salary and I already get paid pretty well. I'm getting so tired though...

What is your job? Sounds like a track/test engineer role. What are you testing for?

I'm a Chassis Dynamics Engine for Chrysler. It's trip season cause it's cold in MI so I'll be spending a lot of time at our Proving Grounds in AZ. I'm specifically doing brake judder, wheel imbalance, tire uniformity, torque steer testing to collect data for model correlation.

I know there are ups and downs to every job, but man that sounds like a cool career.

Getting paid double rate, free food and getting away from super cold weather is a great deal.

What are you thoughts on the Dart and what model did you have?

I love my job all the time. It's high stress, but I get off on it. I drive all the competitive cars and take them home for evaluations. Porsches, Chevy SS, BMWs, good stuff.

Money is awesome. I'm making about 2500/week on trips. Plus I save a lot of money because I'm not spending money on stuff every day. I'm loving the got weather. SE Michigan is not a fun place in winter.

They're a great buy for the money. But I wouldn't buy one. I almost did. I really wanted a 1.4 Rallye but now we only put the 1.4 in the Aero model. If I'm going to drive a super slow car I'd rather it have a more fun powertrain. So I got a new V8 Charger instead haha.

Yeah, that sounds cool as hell and that's GREAT money!

In your opinion, what's the best 4 banger chassis you've driven? I've read the Cobalt SS is a monster when setup well and i've been hearing the same about the Fiesta ST. Just interested in your insight. Favorite car you've ever tested?

The Focus ST is a pretty good, the Fiesta ST feels more fun. I'm a huge fan of first gen Neons with boost. An Abarth is also a ton of fun, but it's still slow. My favorite FWD 4 cylinder ever though is the Alfa Giulietta Quadrifoglio. Steering is on point, power is well balanced, gearbox is solid, and it handles fantastically. I would buy one of I could.
