well, replaced the O ring with an OEM one and some sealant, hoping for no leaks...

also hooked up the exhaust tonight, will replace the muffler in the rear tomorrow; granted, there are no more leaks or issues....#3inch turboback to a Dynomax muffler shoudl sound.....interesting

Of course....more water leaks....

THINK i finally found it after dropping coolant 4 times today....gawd i hate coolant. It was the upper small hose on teh back of the intake manifold. Ended up using regular hose clamps, tightened to hell. I think the leak is stopped, we'll see if any accumulates after the next few days



evildemon - i could not get your map to idle the car what-so-ever! i uploaded my old map and the car idled fine, just rich. Whenever I upload yours, the car idles up and down in consistantly and runs very lean. I dunno what it is...i'll have to examine the maps more closely tomorrow. I even tried to upload your map while the car was running, and it immediately died

Whats your climate like(temp, humidity, altitude..etc).

Go to hondata and download the software for s300 - You can still use it, you just need the license to use the hardware in the ecu.

Different injectors, but All he has to do is change the "new injector size" in hondata to suit.
Climates are totally different I would Imagine.
Average temps 20 degrees Celcius
Pretty much humidity average 70%
And altitude conditions - I drive from sea level to 200m

Cool. Good thing texas is just about sea level. But we dont have as much humidity often.

im going to compare everything on the maps tonight and hit u back up. I'll try to make all parameters match, and leave the maps the same. I do notice that you have a bit more timing at idle, my current map is at 16deg in the idle range

this is what i had in the notes...
9/4/08 - map is tuned for 98 octane = Pulled timing down
- Used motec 3 bar, 1000cc, and altered boost cut
- Richened fuel from 4K-8K/4psi-12psi by 2 clicks

on another note....my filter came in. Man space is VERY tight under the alternator, so I had to get a special filer from K&N

holly shit that filter looks like something i need, there is no room in my setup under the alternator, im using a mesh for now \=

i hear mesh is not good, and it cuts the surface area. but worse case, tune it will no mesh or screen till you can run a filter.

hah been busywith tons of things. Not only my car to work on, still helping out on the sti.

Tomorrow, i gotta help install Evo springs, do a valve adjustment, and hopefully clean the car up a tad.
