hes right tho... when u can select a shallower depth of field it gives u more to play with.... and honestly its better to learn on prime lenses than zooms.

Yup. You're kinda forced to learn how to compose better and you get a better eye with prime lenses since you don't have the option of zooming and shit.

me too takes up so much room. But RAW has its benefits when editing but I just dont do it often unless needed.

Raw is the best. I love it, especially when you got the wrong white balance or if you want to change white balance to see what effect you get.
