Way too cold here and makes me want to move! Cool shot tho. A tip tho, when shooting bikes stand them so you can see the crank and the rear derailluer
Thanks guys. I thought the bike would look cleaner like this, guess I don't know enough about bike photography. And don't worry, I never get a chance to ride this thing either, in fact the cassette is worn out.

I saw this when I was lost in your flickr last night. Cool shot for sure. Should be an ad against drunk driving or something.

          I like it!
The colors are really smooth across the whole shot. This would have been a great candidate for a long exposure shot.

What if I told you the shutter speed was 1/1500 iso 100?

            Thanks!

I know the shutter speed was high, I was saying it would have been a nicer image had the SS been 1/30 or lower.

Better yet put on a ND filter on there or stop it down to the max and use an even slower shutter speed to get a silky smooth look of the water.

x2, it looks great but if the water were softer the picture would have turned out nicer imo.

I'll keep the slow shutter speed in mind. Hadn't crossed my mind... though I'm pretty sure 1/30 wasn't going to happen. In my mind I always think the ripples will look cool but they never do...

                                experimenting with light?

tried to get it so the pattern would stay on the right side of the car only, and i wouldn't get a washed out look, but it still came out like balls
