Update!!!!!!
Today my friend finished up my rear deck trim panel. I shoulda snapped a pic, but forgot . Anyway, it's done in black and the speaker openings were shaved cause I'm not running rear speakers. It looks really good! It'll be the first time my car's had a trim panel back there in 6 or 7 years!
I routered out a few speaker rings to mount to my door shell for the Focal 6.5" woofers. I wanted to mount the 3" mids next to them, but due to their size, it's not gonna work that way. So, we decided that for the best imaging that I should mould the 3's and the tweets into the kick panels. This will give my stereo a stealthier look anyway, so I'm cool with that. I'll have to relocate the hood release, but that will be easy. Then we'll just shave the tweeter holes that I've already got cut into my door panels from the last set of components. Anyway, I'll try and post up some pics that I did take today a little later on.
