Today I decided to forget about finding a new (used) airbag cover so I just fixed the one I had. I used mesh tape and plastic repair epoxy to glue the split seams back together, reinforcing it on the inside and outside. Then smoothed it out with some body filler. Hopefully tomorrow my friend will wrap that piece, and wrap my driver door panel. Thursday the car comes home with me!

Here are a few more pics from today. Driver door is done, my friend just has to do the passenger door armrest and that will be done too. Tomorrow I'll be putting the center console back in for now, then in a few weeks I'll have him wrap the console too.

Aside from a glove box, lol, it's perfect.

It is Alcantara Suede, which is a synthetic that holds up much better to wear and tear and UV rays than real suede. It's the same stuff used by Ferrari, Lamborghini, and even used in STI's and on GTO inserts. High end racing seats also use it cause of its durability.

Last dash pieces to be done are the glovebox lid and the lower closeout panel below the steering wheel.
