ANY BUYING/SELLING IN THIS FORUM WILL RESULT IN AN INSTANT BAN!
Read the rules: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43956
Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)
Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.
These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.
1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.
2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.
3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.
4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.
The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.
The rules for the overall forum can be found here:

BB6 Dash swap

My friend peeled the suede off the dash today while I was wiring up my door speakers and re-routing my hood latch cable to the glovebox area (this was really easy to do if anyone wants to add a tad bit more security to their car by hiding the hood release). Anyway, the areas where the suede was not lifting were glued down so well that i garauntee it never would have lifted. However, the areas where it did lift there was no hope of it ever holding. I got the dash back to the body shop to start cleaning off the glue and found that it was really easy to peel the oem black vinyl off of the prelude portion of the lower dash half leaving behind the foam padding. This is going to make recovering the dash really easy because that glue will hold to the foam for forever no problem. As for the top portion, hopefully baking it in the booth a few times will draw out all the oils and such so I can clean it really well. Then I'm going to run my DA sander over the remaining vinyl with 80 grit to really scratch it up and give the glue a rough surface to bond to.
Should have more updates next week!

Made more progress on the dash today. I made up my mind that I was gonna just shave the glovebox, so I epoxied the glovebox cover into place, reinforced it on the backside, and smoothed out the front with some filler. We're confident that the glue will stick this time now that it has a much improved surface to bond to. I dropped it off at my friend's shop so he could get started. I'm keeping my fingers crossed that it'll be ready in time for my autocross this sunday.

Well, the new dash cover was stitched up and ready, but unfortunately there were some minor issues with the patterns due to the fact that this time I shaved the glovebox. The original patterns apparently weren't modified enough to allow for enough material to cover that area... I haven't gotten any updates yet, but hopefully I'll hear something soon.
